The editing/formatting options are still trash after so many years compared to MS Word. I use google docs daily at school, and it pisses me off daily. The Google docs alternative online apps are ok, but are people not aware that MS also offers an equivalent free limited version of the standard Office apps online that are more compatible than Google's versions?

But I'm still using MS Office Pro 2010 with no issues, so not a huge concern. Future upgrades not necessarily included (definitely not in this case). In this case "lifetime" just means it's a traditional permanent licence for one version, not an expiring subscription. They typically honor those keys because the problem is theirs.

Microsoft has an issue with grey market software keys which are legit keys but sold through unintended channels they did not authorize (e.g., keys sold as a discounted group for use within one corporation which were subsequently distributed elsewhere). The companies providing those products don't seem to have any issue with purchases made through Stacksocial. RFDers have been buying discounted software licenses and services there for years with few complaints. Stacksocial is a totally legit deals site. I've got some unused money sitting in my PayPal account so decided to take the plunge as well based on your experience. The redeem code box was causing outages & latency. Turns out they had sold so many keys they got hammered today.
